Wedding with a View

These two enjoy rock climbing and back country skiing, among other things and so they chose a location that gave them great views of the places where they play. It was an intimate event with just ten guests, including the officiant – all family members. We drove up a bumpety bump road to find a rough pull out above the Goat Wall and then walked about ten minutes through the forest til we came out at an impressive rocky overlook with views down valley and up into the North Cascades. Some family members came from the east so this was quite a change of scenery for them. The bride’s niece was the cutest little flower girl and clearly relished the attention. After the ceremony, there were drinks and snacks while pictures were made and then the walk back up through the forest to the bumpety bump road.
