This lovely young couple had a very intimate wedding in the North Cascades. They love the mountains and spend their free time hiking to lakes in the Cascades. Surrounded only by their close family, they exchanged vows and pledged their love to each other. Afterwards I met them at the Beaver Pond near Sun Mountain Lodge where we did some portraits and family photos. And then we moved up to the stables where they were going to finish off the day with a ride to a cowboy BBQ dinner at the old homestead. It was a very Methow celebration. The groom’s family traveled out here from Kansas and I imagine that they had some stories to tell when they returned home.
The bride was stunning in the most beautiful tea-length gown – perfect for horseback riding! However, the star of the show may have been the three-year old nephew in his white shirt and suspenders!
