The day before Steph and Jamie were married at Sun Moutain, the groom and some of the guys got together for a float on the Methow to try their hands at fly fishing. Some of them were experienced fly fishers with their own rods, others were beginners. The day was sunny and hot. Very hot. There was liberal use of sunscreen. The expert guides, Kevin and Blaze got them geared up with wading boots and Sage rods and soon they were flipping flies back and forth across the crystal clear water of the Methow. The next day we heard tales of the monster cutthroat that slipped away.
