I have spent the last two days scouting photo locations for this weekend’s photo workshop, Capturing the Shades of October, sponsored by the North Cascades Basecamp near Mazama. The weather has been and continues to be outstanding with blue skies and sunshine; brisk mornings and warm afternoons. Yesterday there was a little smoke in the air and that contributed to a softer, filtered light! I explored forests and streams; rivers and ponds; aspens and cottonwoods and tall grasses. Here’s a sneak peak at what this weekend’s workshop participants will get to see and photograph!
