I met this lovely family at their home deep in the forest south of town. It’s a stunning setting along a creek shaded by tall cottonwoods with evergreens stretching to the high hills beyond. Can you imagine being a kid and growing up in such a place? I would have loved it! The weather was cold and we had to start earlier in the day than planned due to impending rain in the forecast. Luckily we finished as the first drops began. The boys were chilly and ready to ride bikes and run around to warm up. Ruby, the border collie had enough energy for all of us! She’d join us for a short moment and the be off like a shot after something that only she could perceive.
It’s always so much fun to get to know a family at a place where they are at home. Thank you.
