I have known M since she was a little girl and now she’s a senior and in a blink of an eye, she will be heading to university. Time goes by so quickly. She and her mom have spent many hours at this wonderful lake in the Okanogan Highlands – sometimes doing environmental education, protecting loons and their habitat, and sometimes coming for fun. It’s hard for me to imagine how much their lives have changed in recent years and how many more changes are coming. M is an outstanding young woman and I see her making great, positive changes in the world.
