Mazama Wedding – Linda and Alvin

Linda grew up in the Methow Valley and Alvin grew up with a military dad, moving around constantly while growing up. Alvin and his sister were closest friends and it was fitting that she stood with him at the wedding. Linda’s sister stood next to her and her brother walked her down the aisle. The bride and groom were both elegant and silly at the same time. Linda’s dear friend made the artwork featuring lookouts of the Methow Valley, that adorned the dinner tables and the dessert table. It was fitting that the venue, Basecamp 49, sits right below the Goat Peak lookout. In the photos, it’s a lovely day but I have to tell you, it was windy and cold. By the time the sun went down, many people had donned puff coats and I was wishing I’d brought mine! The cupcakes were delicious works of art and lasagna for dinner was a great idea! And, did you know – some wedding dresses have pockets! All the guests received custom eqpd bags featuring topo maps from two lookouts and also the same art that was on the tables. What a fabulous day!

I am so lucky to document happy days like this one.
